Wirgo is a ridesharing app that connects drivers who have spare seats with passengers going the same way. The idea is simple: make travel affordable, convenient, and greener, while helping people meet each other.
Right now, Wirgo operates in Moldova and Romania. We started here based on strong demand and plan to expand. Check route availability in the app by entering your origin and destination.
For passengers
Download Wirgo and create an account.
Enter your start point, destination, and date.
Browse the offers and pick a driver.
Tap Book and wait for confirmation.
Use in-app chat to align timing, pickup point, luggage, and other details.
Yes. Wirgo has a secure messaging system so you can ask questions first. Phone numbers are not shared. All communication stays in the app.
You’ll get a notification. You can: • Choose another offer. • Contact support for help. Drivers who cancel frequently may face penalties, from rating drops to account restrictions.
Yes, anytime in the app. • 24+ hours before departure: no impact. • Less than 24 hours or no-show: your reliability score may decrease. Payments are cash only, so refunds are not processed through the app.
For drivers
Open the app and log in.
Tap Offer a ride.
Set route, date, time, seats, and price per passenger.
Publish.
Passengers can message you in chat to confirm details.
You set the price. The app suggests a ballpark amount based on distance. Payment is in cash on the day of the trip.
Yes. You see a passenger’s name, photo, ratings, reviews, and reliability. You can decline a booking if you’re not comfortable.
Mark them as absent in the app after waiting 10–15 minutes. This lowers their rating and helps us act if it becomes a pattern.
Payments and refunds
Wirgo does not process in-app payments. Passengers pay drivers directly in cash when you meet.
Cash only for now. It helps to have exact change.
Since payment is in person, there are no in-app refunds. You can: • Message the other party in chat. • Report an issue via the in-app complaint form.
Safety and trust

Yes. After each trip, users can rate and review each other. Reviews help build a trustworthy community.
It’s up to the driver. Check the ride description or message the driver before booking.
Account and support
Download Wirgo → Register → Enter your phone number → Complete your profile and verify it.
Tap Forgot password on the login screen and follow the steps. You’ll get a reset link by SMS or email.
Go to Settings → Delete account. This is permanent and removes all your data.

Technical questions
Close and reopen the app, check for updates, then restart your phone. If the issue remains, contact support through the app.
Make sure: • Notifications are enabled in your phone settings • Your device is online • You’re logged in to your account in the app
